Google Play Gift Cards add credit to a Google account for use on the Play Store — apps, games, in-app purchases, movies, books and subscriptions. Like Apple's cards, each one is issued for a specific country's Play Store, so the code only redeems cleanly on a Google account registered to that same country.
Can I redeem a Google Play card from any country?
No. Google Play cards are issued per country. The card's region must match the country set on the Google account redeeming it, or the Play Store will reject the code.
Where do I enter the code?
Open the Play Store app, tap your profile picture, choose Payments & subscriptions → Redeem code, and enter the code.
Does the balance expire?
Google Play balances generally don't expire once redeemed, but check the terms shown on your Play Store account for your specific region.
